Welcome

The Alopecia Community of the Triangle,

Discovering True Beauty from the Inside-Out!

Welcome to the A.C.T., the only Alopecia Support Group in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.

The Alopecia Community of the Triangle is a support/empowerment group for women, men and children living with medically related hair loss. That includes any form of  Alopecia Areata, Cicatricial Alopecia, hair loss due to chemotherapy treatment etc. We provide emotional support, encouragement, advice and information to anyone impacted by Alopecia (hair loss) and the people who love them.

Come Join Us

If you or someone you love has Alopecia, you don’t have to go through this experience alone. Come give and receive support from others who understand and can relate to how you feel. There may not be a medical cure for the condition but there is healing for your heart and mind. Visit our Alopecia Support  Get Together page to learn about our philosophy and goals. We have a standing open invitation. All individuals living in the Triangle area, Virginia and throughout the Carolina’s are welcome to join us. Simply RSVP via e-mail to: Sandra@AlopeciaCommunity.org to confirm your attendance.

Our Goal, Our Purpose

The goal of the Alopecia Community of the Triangle is to foster renewed self esteem and improved self confidence from the damaging psychological impact of hair loss. We provide a safe place to share, openly but voluntarily. There are workshop offerings, dynamic guest speakers, group events to build relationships and opportunities to give back to the community as a team and advocate for Alopecia awareness. Together we will turn a negative experience around and use it to build ourselves up, while making a positive difference in the lives of many.
