Welcome

Happy New Year, Happy New You!

The Alopecia Community of the Triangle,

Discovering True Beauty from the Inside-Out.

The Alopecia Community of the Triangle is an online resource for women, men and children living with medically related hair loss in the North Carolina area. We provide emotional support and encouragement, local referrals, advice and information to anyone impacted by any form of Alopecia (hair loss) and the people who love them.

If you or someone you love has Alopecia, don’t go through this experience alone. There may not be a medical cure for the condition but there is healing for your heart and mind and friends nearby who care. Visit us at one of our Alopecia Support Group Get Togethers and meet other people in your community that are having the same experience. We have a standing open invitation for those living in NC and the surrounding area.

The goal of the Alopecia Community of the Triangle is to foster renewed self esteem and improved self confidence from the damaging psychological impact of hair loss. We provide a safe place to share, openly but voluntarily. There are group events to build relationships and opportunities to give back to the community as a team and advocate for Alopecia awareness. Together we will turn a negative experience around and use it to build ourselves up, while making a positive difference in the lives of many.
